Convert microsoft office files into pdf

Many of us use Microsoft office tools such as word, powerpoint etc. to prepare documents, presentations etc. Many times we use these files onto other computers, PC which may not contain some uncommon used fonts. So, Its better to convert the files into .pdf such that we have no compatibility issues.

eg. Resumes or CV's might contain some LATEX fonts.

.pdf is the most stable and easy format to view all the files. Microsoft office by default doesn't provide any feature to convert office files into .pdf.

Here is a simple and easy way to convert the files.

Step 1

Go to Microsoft Office Pdf Add-in page. Download the Add-in SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe file.

Step 2

After downloading SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe file, install it in your PC.

Step 3

After installing, open any Microsoft Office file. Now go to "Save As" option under the "File" menu and you will find an option for pdf conversion, as shown in the screenshot.

Step 4

Click it and save the file as pdf.

The option for pdf conversion can be used everytime !! Cool
